We plan the tour according to your wishes - especially if you want to switch the start and final point. Maybe we should start at the central station or directy in front of your hotel. Or you want to finish with a traditional swabian meal like a "Zwiebelrostbraten" or visit a Biergarten. On demand: We can have a break für a "Glühwein" or a cold beer on the wonderful Ulm Christ Market! No problem! If you say nothing we start regularly at the town hall and end at the Ulm cathedral.
Our tour has a normal duration of 1.5 hours. As you wish this can vary between 1 and 2.5 hours - even spontaniously if the group has special wishes or questions! There are many stories to tell of Ulm's rich history.
We show you the highlights of our city - the most famous ones are situeated in the historic district. The main attraction is - of course - the Ulm cathedral called Ulmer Münster, which we will also see from the inside.
Our guided tour has a fixed price of 120,- Euro (incl. VAT.) This doesn't ever change - no matter which date you come or how long it will take. Never! Promise!
You decide! We can handle everything between 1 and 50 people - depending on the guide available on your desired date.
Our city tour will be held either in German, English or Italian. English and Italian - not native but fluent!
Our city tour is perfectly fitted as a part of a bigger program, for example for:
Our most important philosophy: The tour must be fun! And it will be! We won't just tell you boring dates and tons of information nobody can ever remember. Our mission is to teach you how to love this city! Entertaining stories at historic places explain you the context of Ulm's, Germany's and Europe's history - enriched with many side blows and anecdotes. Get to love this place by our tour!
A general survey: Historic and geographic classification, demographic development, economy, universities and the latest developments
Old Sone Age to Nowadays - from the Lion Man, a brilliant tailor to a science city and economic cluster - Ulm's history is very eventful
Why is the history of Ulm and the economic swayings iseparable connected to this river
Napoleon - ever heard of him? And why there is a city called Neu-Ulm? A historical joke of the Bavarians?
Real Ulm people swear - with their mayor! Pardon - Lord Mayor! At least once a year!
Why is Monday the highest holiday? What is the Nabada, the Serenade and why do the fishermans fight with each other?
You can see it clearly: Some more centimeters and this house would be nothing than history. But even the towers are not that upright...
Never! Don't call it "Dom" again... No doubts - the highlight of each tour! And yes - we will see it from the inside, too!
Town hall, Neue Mitte, Gäns- and Metzgertower, Fishermans quarter, crooked house, Schwörhaus, Münster and all the other lovely places of Ulm...
You decide! We can handle everything between 1 and 50 people. We recommend 10 to 25 people - then there is enough space to consider all of the group's wishes and answer all questions. Keep in mind that the bigger the group the slower we move through the city. But honestly - don't bother about the size of your group - you'll get a great experience no matter how many you are!
As well: You decide! We are very flexible and can adjust the time even instantly during the tour. Everything between 1 and 2.5 hours is possible. Please consider: Our average tour takes 1.5 hours. For two reasons: If we take less than 1 hour we have to leave out that many parts of the city that the connections of everything won't be clear any more. Second, concentration declines after 1.5 hours significantly. But: Ulm has a rich history: There are enough stories to tell to fill more than 24 hours...
Again as well: You dedice! We can adjust the tour very flexible. Normally we start at the town hall and end at Ulm cathedral (Ulmer Münster). As you wish we can also pick you up at your hotel, the main station or the bus parking. We can end there as well. But maybe you want to have a traditional meal at a traditional Swabian restaurant or beer garden and try our Zwiebelrostbraten, Maultaschen or Kässpätzle. Actually - you should at least once in your lifetime. If so, tell us in advance. Depending on your group size we recommend the perfect place for you and reserve places as needed.
Our tour is available in German, English and Italian. English and Italian - not native - but fluent!
Our guided city tours always cost 120,- Euro (including VAT). No matter much time we need. No matter which group size. No matter which language. Promise!
For sure! You get a booking confirmation by Email as well as an invoice containing VAT. Please note: The payment must be made in advance of the tour!
For sure! Well - if we can. Opening hours depend of the seasons. But if our tour is within the public opening hours, we will get in there! Cause: You have to see it!
We handle your booking request immediately. You get a booking confirmation by Email as well as an invoice including VAT. Please make the payment in advance of the the tour. That's all! If no further questions occur we will meet at Ulm on the booked date. Wait: One promise: You'll really get inspired by this city and our tour!
